Zambian Landscape

A casual walk, an inspiring view. This photo was taken of the Sakeji River valley in Northwest Province in Zambia during the dry season. We were also hunting for shindwas at the time. A shindwa is a small red fruit that grows near the ground with their white bitter pulp with black seeds; a tasty treat if you could find one. I believe it is the young fruit of a ginger plant if anyone could verify that.
